Zachary has a passion for horses and a love for nature. He is a combat veteran, having served in a long range reconaissance unit in the Army. He implements survival and land navigation skills he learned in the military to the pack trips, giving our trips an exciting twist! He is a book of knowledge and freely mentors all that want to learn while out on the pack trips.



Tyler Leyden is calm and collected at all times. In the business world, honesty is critically important and Tyler embodies that to his very soul. He has a sharp eye when it comes to safety and procedures. Tyler is the subject matter expert on all rules and regulations. You can contact him with any of your questions. Tyler is able to put himself into our staff’s shoes and imagine what it’s like to do their jobs because he has performed every job in the business, from stapler fixer, to Equine vet work and everything in-between!



Kalea has been riding horses and mentoring under professionals in the equine therapy world since she was 12 years old. Combining the skills she learned with that experience, and her 10+ years as a nanny, she is second to none when it comes to professionalism and care for the children on our rides. She has a fierce ambition to help horses have a quality life and teach others to love horses, as she does. Her kindness and love for everything is evident, you can’t help but smile while talking to her.



Alamo is the boss. He comes on most of the pack trips.



Rachelle Reome is a United States Air Force veteran who served 8 years on active duty with 2 tours overseas, and has been volunteering with Trail Brothers almost since the beginning. She’s had a love for horses her entire life, rode some in high school, but joined the military at 17 and didn’t have another opportunity to be around them again, other than a few trail rides here and there, until now.

She spends her days off at the ranch helping care for the horses, learning how to train horses, taking lessons, and looking forward to being a part of the program they are starting for fellow veterans!

Jacob is a young aspiring horse trainer. Jacob Volunteers so often we are surprised he hasn’t popped up a tent behind the barn. He has a lot to learn and he is eager to learn it quickly. Everyone around him is excited to see him grow into the horseman we know he can be! chances are you’ll see Jacob at the ranch no matter what day you ride!

Alina has been involved with horses for years. Recently she has been coming out almost every weekend to volunteer. She plans on making a career with horses! Trail Brothers supports her dreams and plans to sponsor her along the way!



Michael is an Army Veteran and now a college student at Sierra College . Michael found the horses and the ranch to be therapeutic and decided it was a good place to spend his free time. He has quickly made his way into the Trail Brothers Family. He volunteers when he can and comes out to be with the horses every week. If you see Mike on the ranch please THANK HIM FOR HIS SERVICE!
